Learn to make classic Louisiana cuisine in New Orleans!
Watch a cooking demonstration at New Orleans Cooking school. Learn to make Louisiana favorites with recipes, locally brewed beer, refreshments, and enough food for lunch. A 3-hour walking food tour with Destination Kitchen, enjoy some of the most famous and most visited eateries in the quarter while learning about the history and culture of New Orleans! The 2-hour cooking class will take place after the food walking tour.
The tour includes approximately 6-7 food and beverage tastings. We will visit some of the establishments recommended in numerous cookbooks.
Stroll through streets of French Quarter visiting interesting food venues that are not just eateries. Cooking demonstration in fun and relaxed atmosphere that is enough for lunch. Knowledgeable hosts and guides with enthusiastic energy. This tour can be customized.
Optional: Cocktails at well-known uptown Bed and Breakfast on the Avenue over looking the gorgeous oaks and the St. Charles street car line, followed by relaxed dining and enjoyment at your choice of Bayona, Galatoire’s, Commander’s Palace, or one of many other restaurants. (Our concierge service will arrange transportation service if needed).
